I picked up a used 07 top for my jeep last week. I have seen that there is a TSB for wind noise out there, yes mine has the noise. Of course I can not go in to have it done since mine came with a hard top. I have two questions. One, is the bar metal with a bottom half in a plastic cover, or is the replacement part all metal with no plastic on it? The second question is, what are the stay pads for and where do they go?

 

OK, no responses and plenty of views. How about this, could one of you post pics of what the new header and stay pads look like?
