That makes me wonder if your first set was even bad......When the windows warm up under proper tension the little wrinkles and waves smooth out.

That's another good thought...although they were not on the jeep at all when they got wrinkly.

Wouldn't hurt to stretch them out on the jeep one hot day to see if it helps. Just gotta wait for Thunderstorm Fay passes by to get the temp up.

Thunderstorm Fay

That sounds like a comment from a seasoned hurricane veteran!!! Did you break out the mix and make any hurricanes of your own yet?

DeepSky, dont feel like we need to pick on you, i wouldnt, I posted a little pictorial on this subject quite a while ago, ( Soft Top Rear Window to Door frame surround area installation. _lots of pictures. )

...just for this very reason. I am glad you got it figred out, i was just about to send you there.

Oh, and for all the people that sent me hate mail PM's for posting something that you thought was so simple, well, here's my vindication. So go play with your soft top.

Someone needed some help.

Don't feel too freaked; I wasn't doing my soft windows up the right way till I saw someone else on this forum with the same problem. I couldn't figure out why Jeep would have side windows that would flap around at speed.

D'oh!

Glad everything worked out.
