I am curious how many people here bought a soft top from non-dealers like on e-bay or Craig's list. I bought one on e-bay and the package was missing the brackets that attach rollbar and soft top bows. The guy that I bought it from should be taking the part out today off of the roll bar, but it's been almost a week and I am getting anxious.

I was just curious how many other people had the same experience.

FYI, for people who are buying the soft top from someone, you should ask the seller to make sure that the brackets are included in the package!

I don't want other people to go though what I am going throught! (I am lucky that the guy that I bought it from is trying to take care of this, though!).

 

i bought one off a guy that had one on ebay... he bought a balck sahara with a khaki top and made the dealership add a black soft top to the deal. he ended up not liking the jeep that much and decided to sell the soft top instead of swithcing it out.

i bought it for 700. his "Buy it Now" price as 900 on ebay but i wrote him an e-mail tellin him i would buy it after the auction ended.

the only piece missing was the sunrider bow. i didnt realize it until i was installing it. i went back to the dealer with the reciept (the guy gave it to me) and they ordered the part and i had it in a week.

 

I finally got all the parts for soft top and installed it. I love it! I am almost thinking about getting rid of hard top! It's fun!
