I got mud all over my softtop... I washed it even with a scrub brush at the car wash, can still see it a bit... What should I use to clean it and keep it looking black?

actually, that is a good question, i have some Jonathan Livingston Seagull signatures that i can't quite get rid of. I was hoping when it gets warm i could do a better job of spraying them/scrubbing them off. This is my first ragtop, so i'm all ears here.

 

I used the best top cleaner & had pretty good result with it. I used both the cleaner & the protectant after that. It looked like the day it left the lot. Does seem to take a fair bit of product & elbow grease to get the gloss even.

 

There is a product called ragg top. Many people use this in their Corvette tops. There is 2 different versions, one for cloth and one for vinyl. Not sure which on the sail cloth falls in to.
