Default some new issues I need help

In the morning after 10 minutes of driving I have two dings from my dash but no warning lights or fault codes.

Also when going up hills and i need the tranny to down shift and I step on the gas, it seems to slip into neutral and rev high, once the rpm's drop it will go into gear and go. It is an auto.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like your tranny is screwed. The dash chime could be tranny overheat warning. Would explain the shifting issue as well. I'd get it looked at asap.

What's your mileage? What year is your jeep ? Buy it new or used?

That don't sound good.

Sounds like tranny is slipping. I would check the tranny fluid level asap. Check to see if it is discolored or nasty smelling.

Any warranty left? How many miles? Has the tranny fluid ever been changed?

If your out of warranty, I would drop the tranny pan and see if you find anything besides fluid in the pan. Changes the filters.

Might be too late though.
