I recently purchased new wheels and tires, Dick Cepek DC 1's. The spare tire sticks out farther than the OE 17 inch rim. Because of this the new set up does not rest on the rubber bumpers on the tailgate and I know this could lead to issues with the spare tire mount down the road.

Do they make longer rubber bumpers that would help solve this? Any other fixes?

Should I just take my chances until I can afford a new rear bumper/tire rack set up?

The tech on the DC-1's is as follows:
17 x 9
Offset: -12mm
Backspacing: 4.56"

Yes daystar makes rubber extensions for the tailgate. I have a 35 on my stock carrier and it rattles ALOT, It is deifinatly not long term
