Speedo Needle
Attachment 140356
This weekend I painted my gauge surrounds and I guess I knocked my speedometer off its normal track because its about 20 mph slow now. I took everything back off, readjusted to zero, then go out this morning and its doing the same thing
. Any ideas of how to fix?

Not sure if it's a mechanical fix or a software fix. If you want to verify your instrument panel meters, lights, and vacuum flourescent displays are working put the key in the ignition, press and hold the trip button, turn the key to on but don't start, you can release the trip button once the self test begins. This will do an instrument panel check and you'll see if the meters swing the full range.
post #5 of the following thread is where I sourced the self test procedure from.

I also just painted mine and the speedo doesn't work. Hope I take it apart and find something unplugged. But if not, I'll try that instrument check. Did you knock or push yours somehow?
