Ditto. After getting sunburn during my first summer, I got the Spiderweb shade and run with the top off whenever it's not raining or too cold. I love it!

 

I have one and it works great. There are two metal grommets that line up with the sound hole that allow you to put the hardtop on with the shade in place. If they rattle, and they will, drop a carriage bolt through the hole and secure with a wing nut.

Love mine! Since my little one is still too little to role around topless all day here in Texas I have my hard top on over it with no problems at all! Can't wait till we are out of our triple digit temps to rock it some more!
