Default Splash Guard Options

This topic has probably been discussed but I thought I'd solicit opinions.
I live down a dirt road about 5 miles. My driveway is about 1 mile that is essentially a path between rocks. I wanted to leave the naturality of the land. I have a log home at the end that is perched on a bluff above a fish filled creek that is sourced from the lake behind me. All of my neighbors (which are few) have large acreage that isolates me from everything. Needless to say that the Rubi is never clean and bought for purpose. My previous family rig was a Hyundai Sante Fe 4wd that was inadequate to the task but served loyally for 6 years.
I am describing the place I live so to ask if I may be being petty in complaining about the damage to my jeep in just daily driving. The stock wheels have flung rocks and dirt up the side of this Jeep chipping the paint off the hinges and scratching the rear doors. I am asking for the dealer to fix but I also want to stop the source. The Rubi's have nothing to stop this and the only flap I can find are molded. These are trouble I know because my truck has them and in bad weather I have to hook a loop to the bottom of them and tie them up so they don't get sucked into the tire.
I am an avid class 4-5 WW canoeist that frequently needs to get into remote areas and also need a strong cross bar across my windshield that is extra wide as I carry three canoes when I go (its a family hobby).
So
Do you think it's petty to have the dealer fix the paint on the Jeep (after I install the dreaded flaps)?
Is there a decent front cross bar out there that extends past the wind shield?
First post; sorry for the ramble.

1st - Since you alread have rock rails, consider adding (welding) tupes to the sides & welding a plate across like a step (search for this & there are several threads). That would be similar to the Teraflex sliders I have, which keep almost all road spray off the sides.

2nd - I don't think the dealer will fix your paint chips.

3rd - Requires a search again, but someone made there own front cross member for carrying a canoe. They used steel square tube & mounted at the two side bolts on the windshield. It was all bolt-together, no welding required. That being said, three canoes is a LOT of weight. I assume you have some sort of bed extra-wide bed extender in the rear receiver?
