Spring Cleaning - trim
Get a can of Mequiars Tire Shine. Spray a light coat on the black fenders and wipe down with a clean dry towel. They'll look like new when your done. Works great on the black bumpers and stock rock gaurds too.
Every spring I take the wifes JK Unlimited to the local HydraSpray, blast the entire vehicle including the underside, then back home in the drivway for a handwash using Mequire's wash, scrubbing all the trim with a cotton cloth. Then once dried and claybar'd, a good coat of Meguire's NXT on the body. For the trim I start with a good coat of Mothers Back To Black making sure to rub it in good. Next a couple coats of 303. The I go over the entire Jeep with Turtle Wax ICE. (liquid)
From then on it's just a wash and wax with ICE, both body and trim throughout the summer. Although the ICE doesn't last that long, with a good cleaning and base wax to start, the ICE does an excellent job for both body and trim, about every 3-4 weeks. Her fenders aand bumpers look as good today as they did when she drove it off the lot back in Oct 06.
