Default Squeaks when driving - dissapears when brake is engaged

Issue - I am deaf so bear with me.

I got my father in law to help pinpoint the problem.

He suspects its coming from the rear of the jeep.

The squeak is rythimic and the frequency is the same as the tire rotation frequency.

The squeaking does not happen in reverse only forward. It is there even when I coast in neutral. It dissapears when I brake.

My rear brakes appear worn, (front is okay). I will do a inspection on Friday to check.

My father in law thinks there may be a special pin (apparently he has seen one before) that starts to squeak when it is time ot change your brakes.

I am going to go ahead and do a rear brake job, but I thought id ask what you guys think?

Thanks!!!

That squeal is telling you that your brake pads are worn. Get them replaced asap or you'll ruin your rotors.
