About time. I am very surprised it is the actual clutch disk and not a trans mount or something.

What I don't get is that it is only for Jeeps made prior to Feb. Did they know what the issue was after Feb and haven't put out a TSB until now?

I'm almost going to miss the chirp.

I called the dealer today, he ordered the part... He said "as you can imagine... its on serious backorder..."

What a financial hit to Jeep... i feel bad for them... NAWT!!!

I'll miss the chirp too...

In this TSB it says....

POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.

Does this mean if I'm over 20,000km they won't cover it? I'm sitting at 22,000.

I've been bitching since I got this jeep so I'd be royally chocked if they said "sorry.. warranty has expired on this disc"

That is FEB of 08, so those have not been made yet. Not Feb of 07.

It will only be those who chose to have it done. The date covers transmissions that will be built for the next 4 months.

This is just like the TSB for the throwout bearing, it covered some 2006 wranglers as well.
