Stablizer bars?
Stablizer bars....The other day I test drove both a sahara and a rubi...and the dealer noted that in the sahara there are both "front and rear stabilizer bars in order to keep the vehicle flat in turns...however the rubi just has the rear" Now I dont know if he was just reading something...but I did not ask questions...however...I got to thinking....why doesnt the Rubicon have the front stablizer as well? Is it because of the offroading capability? They both cornered well on the road..
Just Curious.
I find that I know way more about the vehicles I am looking to buy than the salesperson trying to sell me the vehicle. I try not to correct them too much, but just laugh them off.
Rubicon has front and rear "stabilizers" (aka sway bars, aka anti-sway bars). You can electronically "disconnect" the front sway bar on the Rubicon.

... yep what he said... both have the same sway bars, the Rubi just comes from the factory with an electronic disconnect for the front. So both should perform close to the same in turns... The Rubi sits a little higher, so that makes the COG a little higher so if you wanna get picky, that would make the Rubi perform (only slightly) different in curves but probably not something you'll notice.Next time your over there, have him show you the sway bars on both Jeeps and the lack of one (LOL
) on the Rubi... I'll bet he can't even point to what a sway bar is!
