Has anyone been having issues with there JK sputtering at lights when the are sitting still(Manual trans)? Has not happened much but when it does it feels like she's going to shut down. I am beginning to question my throttle body. I’ve also noticed an occasional throttle lag and she stalls out easy at times when I'm in the dirt on a hill. Just that stupid itch you can scratch!!! I hate dealing with petty crap like this, I feel stupid when you take a vehicle in and they can’t duplicate the problem.

 

Every once in a while mine will sputter like that. She never has died, but sure sounded like she might. I figure it might just be indigestion . I burp her, and she`s all better .

 

just get her out on the highway and give her alittle WOT. it should help to clean
things out. or maybe alittle injecter cleaner could help too.

 

I had the same prob. always killed it at stop lights. DRIVE BY WIRE!!!! They really screwed up when they got rid of the throlle linkage to the pedal. Response time is laged by 1\2 a second. Took it to the dealer and showed them and their words "well you bought it like that ." Guess it's just the way it is.

 

I talked to my jeep tech and he said when off road use super unleaded gass. I tried it this weekend and it has helped LOTS!!!!! Ruby really feels her oats now with super.
