Stalling out...
This may be in reference to the posted threads regarding the torque converter, so please inform me if that is the issue, as I am dropping the JK off at the delaership again on Thursday.
First time it happened was on the highway at 70mph...jeep went dead, all the dash lights came on, and it fired itself back up after a second and we kept on truckin'. No check engine light and no notable problems. Dropped it off anyway and dealership gave me the "there isn't any code stored and we didn't find any problem" answer. Jeep had around 3500 miles.
It just happened again last weekend, this time as we started to roll out from a red light. Same thing, and it fired itself back up after a second. Jeep now has 4200 miles.
Is this the Torque Converter issue I am reading about? I got my jeep in November, as it was one of the first to roll out of Toledo.
I am dropping it off Thursday, and the dealership told me to print out and bring the TSBs from this forum. Any advice on how to present the problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
PS Jeep is still stock...lift, bumpers, and tires/wheels are in my garage waiting for installation, but I want to get this taken care of before I make any mods...I doubt the dealership would be helpful with a modified jeep!

I'm not sure if it relates to the torque converter or not, but mine has died a few times while idling. We'll see if it continues once I get the new converter. Hopefully it does relate, I won't have that problem any longer. Though I seem to recall a thread or two on here about other JK's stalling and dying as well. Not sure if I read any cause for that, though.
I had about 3000 on 2 door auto rubicon and had never experienced this. I had the TSB for the converter done and later that day while waiting in line at the car wash all the dash lights lit up and the engine died. It started right back up and hasn't done it since. Wierd.

I'm at 6k miles and this has happened to me twice. I printed out the "battery light" TSB and also one about the radio cutting out and I took my JK in for service today, described the problem, and showed them the two TSB's.
At the end of the day they said they "couldn't re-create the problem" (ya think? twice in 6k miles and it didn't do it for you on your 1-mile test drive?), there was no error code, and that the TSB's that I printed out didn't apply.
When it cut out on the freeway, there was no loss of handling and the engine stayed on, so I guess it's not a huge deal, but still a little unnerving.
