Default Starting Issue

I've recently started having an issue with my Jeep that has me scratching my head

Here's the problem, i'm hoping that somebody may have experienced this also or knows some things to look at.

Basically I goto start the Jeep and nothing happens, no clicking, no dimming of the lights.. Just no attempt to start. All the lights and radio work just fine.

The first time this happened I had a friend try and jump start me and that didn't work. (Didnt expect it to since all the lights and power windows worked just like normal.)

There no DTC light on the dashboard.

However if i remove the battery cables for a moment then reconnect them it starts right up.

This has happened to me twice now within the past month and a half. looking for some suggestions of what I should look at.

I had a similar problem about a year ago. I don't remember what fixed it though. I think it has something to do with the auto-start system that the JK has. There might be a TSB out about it (check Project-JK.) If I remember correctly, the problem with mine simply went away after awhile. I'm sorry I'm not much help, but at least you know you aren't alone!

Looked at that TSB however it said:

"SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer will experience a no engine crank AND a no engine start condition. Also, the remote keyless entry (RKE) system will not operate."

I can unlock the doors just fine with the keyless system, so not sure if this one is applicable.

Hmmm...

The one I read says the RKE MAY not operate.

Here is a cut-n-paste from it:

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience a no engine crank and/or a no engine start condition. Also, the remote keyless entry (RKE) system may not operate.
