Default Steering Damper

Once I finally get my wallowed out trackbar bolt holes fixed I want to install a heavy-duty steering damper to help prevent any future wear. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as what to order. I see OEM replacements from Quadratec but they don't specify them as being heavy duty. Most of the heavy duty steering dampers seem to only work with lift kits (from what I see anyway).

Steering stabilizer and box is not intended to take load off the track bar/mount. Is that what you are trying to achieve?

Your steering stablizer has nothing to do with your wallowed out track bar bolts. Just keep that in mind...If your not lifted the TerraFlex unit works great along with a bunch of others.

My steering damper was one of the components that I believe was damaged by the death wobble caused by my wallowed out trackbar bolt holes. I'm having a body shop fix the trackbar brackets. After that work is done I want to replace the steering damper and I'm wondering if there is one that is better than the OEM part.

BTW...I ordered the Terraflex unit from Quadratec. Thanks for the help guys!
