When I say twisted I mean the two u clamps let the bracket spin aft. Probably pushed back by rocks or sticks on the trail. Giving the picture a second look I'm wrong, it looks like it's right where it should be. I relocated after I ruined two and dented a third.

Relocating it helps get it somewhat out of harms way, replace it and have fun wheelin!

mine started leaking after a mudding trip, think the mud ate up the seal. replaced with a $30 procomp one that was direct bolt on. and was a lot better than the stock one.

i think it was the mud that did me in, as well. it was DEEP mud, and VERY thick.. i think the stabilizer dipped into and plowed through the mud enough to break the seal. not sure if that force/action would have that result. more will be told after it's washed..

so do you really like the pro comp? i think i'm getting that exact kit this weekend. namely cuz 4wheel parts in San Jose doesn't have the Teraflex (none do - it's on backorder). anyway, the pro comp is only like $35. i really want to get something on there soon though - the current one is leaking bad and it just irks me. I think I'll also mail-order the TF and a relo bracket (seems to be a worthy investment to relocate).

i'm glad to find someone using the pro comp. how do you honestly compare it to stock. the one thing i've heard from 100% (seriously) of TF owners is that the TF kit (shock) is WAY heartier/beefier/etc. than the stock shock and they immidiately noticed a MAJOR improvement. i'm wondering if you would say the same about the pro comp?

thanks for the input!
