I love the way the 18 make my jeep look.
But now I have to get side steps or nerf bars to help my kids get in.
Cause and effect! At least that's what I tell my wife...

I called two dealers today.

The first one told me that these wheels/tires cant go on the Jeep. I said that they are stock wheels / tires, they are just off of another Jeep. They said that the speedometer just couldnt be calibrated right, and I would have to pay for a diagnostic before they would even try it.

The second one said it will take about 1/2 hour to put the wheels on and flash the speedometer. 50 bucks.

Thats funny.

And to think alot of Dealerships are wanting (ASE) certified mechanics working for them which most of them already have Hmm I think they get together and actually use there certification acronymn and put it to use (A)sk (S)omeone (E)lse.. Yep I deal with alot of them being in the maintenance field. Gee alot its gonna do on military vehicles but some still get the job are clueless to everything they do then break stuff and leave more work for some one who isn't cert holder but knows there job to fix it... One of my bad habits is watching the mech work on my cars or after it gets serviced I request to use there bay which its still in ang go over everything they are supposed to do and pointing out things they missed. I was offered a job onetime and told them they couldn't pay me enough to work for them lol.... Well its soon back over seas for me to the big Sand box in Iraq just wish I could bring my jeep with me.....

The stealership told me that they weren't sure if they would have to do a gear calib or a tire calib to my computer. They weren't even sure if this could be done. Is this such a foreign thing to them or what? How much should I look to spend?
