stock 2012 Rubicon Vs huge tree trunks & fallen trees!
I can't wait to get the video from this weekend, but was helping a friend clear some trees for a bonefire.
First pulled out a 4' diameter by about 8' tree trunk with my winch. Then a few more freshly cut trees. But the mother of all pulls was this old fallen tree that was stuck in the ground. After a few tires and 1 snapped snatch strap (it was old so we didn't think it'd last) I got it out with my newer snatch strap. Before the pull some guys were like, "No way that minivan engine is gonna get that out." & "If that jeep gets it out, I'll trade my truck in on a jeep." With great satisfaction, they ate their words!
I guess they didn't realise the MW3 is a rubicon, so yeah, it has the mini-van engine, but with 4.10s and the 4:1 transfer case & lockers, I won.

Sounds like a good days work. But, if you pulled those stumps by hooking a strap to your front tow hooks, and backing up to pull them out, then be sure to check the front axle u-joint caps. That is a good way to get the clip to come off, then the cap comes off shortly thereafter. If you pulled from the back hitch, or used a winch you should be fine.
