Heres a question will the stock axles in a dana 30 and the 44 with lockers handle 35's on intermidiate trails or will they be to weak and eventually snap?

Well I have been very hard on it in URE with it being stock and all but with the bigger tires and more traction thats where I know the amount of torque that is now being applied it is more likely to give else where other then the tires, which leads me to think that if I get the 35's then I will need to fork out more dough and get heavier axle shafts.
You may run for years with no issues, then bang your broke or you may nuke an axle your 1st time out. The same thing could be said about the d44/d44 combo.
Plenty of TJs running out there with d30s still on the same axles.
You are on borrowed time no matter what you run. You can take the typical precaustions like gussets and upgraded the shafts. Or you can buy a drop in d44 replacement with all of the offroad goddies ready to go. Still there are no garauntees.

Ok I think I have a misleading question. The point I was getting at to ask if the stock axle shafts in the stock axles of a 2 door Sahara would hold up to the 35" tires, without having to repalce the shafts in the axles.
