Default stock death wobble?

I was just driving home and I was taking a curve in road when I hit a couple bumps in the road which set it in to a death wobble. This is the first time I have had ithappen and wondering has anyone else had this happen to a stock jk? Luckily I was only doing like 45.

Was it just a shake in the wheel or full on DW?

Death wobble on stock JK's is very rare (though not unheard of). The first step i would take in your position is the free one. Get under your front end and re-torque everything to factory spec or about 10% above. Almost the entire front end of my JK was loose (not torqued to spec, not necassarily bolts just hanging) when I got it new..

When I hit the bump it at first started to feel like I kept hiting bumps in the road then the wobbling got worse until I brought it to a stop.

My jeep is still on stock suspension and tires. I get it about once a week now. I get it going 35 and i get it going 65. I just hold on and enjoy the ride.

My JK is an stock 08 Hardtop. I just got mine fixed at the dealership. They had to replace the stearing stabilizer. I also had them check to make sure that everything was tight with the front end. It seems to be fixed.
