Default Stock rim life

I've got stock 18" rims from a 2007 Sahara with about 60,000 miles on them. The only wear I can see is the significant break dust and general dirt on the inside-facing wall. If I don't plan on rock crawling any time soon, what sort of life expectancy can i expect from these? Can I slap on some new tires and expect another 5 years of life from them? BTW, my jeep is a 2010, these rims are takeoffs from my last jeep so I could conceivably have these for another 5 years if they'll make it.

Default Okay...

I am really trying to be a better person and not be cynical so I am not going to reply.

Did you check the expiration date?

Damn, I couldn't resist! The devil made me do it!

5 years is not very long at all. You could have them 55 years if you take care of them.

Please tell me you don't really think there is an expiration date.

No there is no expiration date, I was just pulling your leg. Rims are not like tires you don't wear them out. If it runs true, isn't bent or broken and holds air you are more than likely good to go.
