Default Stoopid little door pocket net things.....

Hi all:

I have a 2011 jk sport and I have the following issue.

The net pocket on the driver and passenger side doors is rotten and now sags, the same style pocket on the center console has the same issue.

Has anyone replaced theirs with something else other than the factory netting?.

I know there are replacement molle style panels but I only see them for the rear doors on the 4 door model.

Any ideas?, better yet, pictures of what you have used?....

Thanks for your time.

Wow...tough to believe it's already rotten. You must have your top off all the time, rain or shine?

Bahahahaha!!!!.......

Sad to say, the soft top is waisted on me my friend!.

I am way too susceptible to the heat, I flat out can't stand it. Top is on 95% of the year, every now and then, I'll put it down if it's overcast or sun is down.

The jeep lives in the garage but does spend most of the day outside at work.

I have tinted rear soft windows, tinted front windows, a sun strip on the windshield and use a reflective windshield cover religiously.

I have no idea how or why these nets are failing like this.

Thanks for your time.

When I read your post I recalled seeing modificated door pockets on a german dealer's homepage.

Allrad-Pauli: JK 4-Türer

You can see it in picture #15 (second row, second last).

Looks like some elastic fabric.

Something strange is going on. My 2012 is still as tight as when new, same with my gf's 2010. I've got a hardtop and she's got a soft top. Did you keep a lot of stuff in there to stretch them?

Not really, just the registration and insurance card on the center console pocket.

Doors had a couple of napkins, maybe a real thin beanie. Mainly papers, nothing big or heavy......

This is the exact reason I refuse to store anything in those nets. I knew this would happen...
