Strange pluse in brake
I feel a slight tap when holding in the brakefor a long period of time. Also feel it slightly in the steering wheel but mainly brake This is when the jeep is not moving. Say a stop light or something. I was talking to a friend and was holding in the brake and I could feel a slight tap almost wasn't like something was pushing back but like something was hitting it. Jeep was running and everything else seemed fine. Any help is thanked
Was your AC running?
When the AC compressor engages or disengages, the throttle has to accommodate the load or reduction of load. The throttle basically opens or closes a hair and sometimes the RPM's fluctuate. This cycling can momemtarily induce more engine vacuum -- and since the brakes are vacuum assist, it'll draw the pedal down a bit. It can be associated with a clunk, because the AC compressor can sometimes engage with a healthy kick. It's all normal.

Or the hill-hold feature.
