Default Strange question

Can anybody tell me the height/length from the rear bumper to the roof line? Jeeps spec's say 70" but I am not sure if they mean from the ground.

I plan on having a bike rack on the back and will be traveling across country with two bikes on the rear tire carrier, so I would like to sit them vertical so as not to have as much drag. And both bikes are just under 70".

Any info or guidance would be great. Thanks

Cody

From the top of the rear bumper to the top of the roof is 44" Is that what you need?

Yah, thanks. Sux, not quite high enough. I'll have to figure something else out. Thanks for the info though.

I'm not lazy I would have gone and measured it, but I'm in the uk at the moment and my jeep is in the states. Only for 2 more days though!

what about a regular tire mount bike rack? They hold one bike behind the other and if I am understanding you the bikes are 70 inches long and will fit behind the JK without sticking out much at all on each side.
