Default Stress Cracks in Fenders!

Help! Has anyone else checked out the fenders on their 2007 Unlimited? I did today, my baby (a beautiful red rock 4dr. sahara) is a month old and I thought the driver fender was a little off in color, but I thought I was just being one of those girls...today I noticed that on both fenders (same as body color only) have symetrical fractures under the paint that run from by the headlight up! I can only imaging how this will end up after I drive this a while, they bend and bend some more, and then the stress crack will come through and crack my paint! Since I wanted to make sure I was not having PMS, I went to the 3 dealerships near my house this evening to find that it is on all of the vehicles on the lots (2 dr. and 4dr.) The hinges on the top near the windshield are already peeling the paint off! I know I'm a silly girl, but how else am I supposed to open the hood without the paint flaking off?!?!?

HELP Anyone, Please

I'd take it to the dealer and be a bitch about it. Really.
Don't put up with any bull they will give you.

I too just noticed cracks in mine yesterday. They are located by the hood latch all the way to the front of the fender along the inside bend. BOTH front fenders have the cracks in the same location. My JK is 6 weeks old and I was really shocked to see them. I am going to contact the dealer this week, I will post what happens. I will also post a pic of the crack.

I thought mine were stress cracks at first too, but I remember someone on here saying they are just seams. Every single Sahara fender has it in the exact same place, along the exact same line. I don't think they could all be identical by accident, but if it is a seam you'd think they could do a better job on the appearance.

I agree that they do like more like a stress crack and for the life of me I can't figure out why a seam would be where it is (but then again, I am not an engineer), but mine have not worsened one bit and you don't even notice them when the jeep is dirty.

My wife thought the same thing, but they are just seams in the plastic, Jeep could have finished them a little better before painting knowing that the fenders where going to be painted.

Here are the left and right side. Now they are cracks in the clearcoat. If you rub your finger across them you can feel crack.
