Sunrider
I'm having the hardest time trying to get my sunrider's latches to catch after I have it in sunrider position.
I have to get on one side, pull and push on the plastic header to stretch it far enough, then lock it down, so that the other side is a little easier to do.... It seems like way too much work...
I can ease it up by un-clipping the sail panels, but this seems like more work than what should be done... any ideas?

It will get easier each time you do it as the fabric stretches. The first few times are difficult, but don't force anything!
Also, try to do it after the top has been in the sun for a while. It is much easier to work with the top when it is warmed up.

When our TJ was about 6 months old, we went on a daytrip with the top off. It was an unusually warm day in early october. On the way home the temp dropped from 75ish to about 45 as the sun went down. We had the windows up and the heat on on the way home
I was dreading trying to put the top back up, but it went on really easily. That was the first time we tried it out of the sun. The material really stretched after the first few weeks. It was every bit as hard to work with as our new JK the first few times. But it did loosen up. We have only had the JK top off a few times, but I can already tell it is getting easier

Here in S. FLA is no problem putting up the top. Will have to see this winter when it gets alittle colder.
