Default Sunrider

New to us 2010 JK with a soft top. The manual recommends removing the rear window whenusing the sun rider feature above 40mph.

Is this a problem if we don't remove the window?

TIA

I do it all the time, I guess I missed that in the manual. Doh.

Haven't had any issues with it.

I usually zip it down and let it hang inside. (Little scuff from speaker
I could probably glue something to the speaker to solve that.) No trouble city or highway

Never saw this warning for my 2011. I've never driven over 60 with the sunrider back and the windows in.

Guess it makes since, probably puts a lot of pressure on the rear window. However, if I'm gonna take the windows out, might as well take another minute to fold the top completely down...

the manual recomends it in my 2011 because without the back window out it basiclly makes a big sail. i never had a problem but i guess it could pull the pins our for the sunrider and the whole top will come down

It causes extra drag and acts like a parachute, it's kinda like driving on the free way with the rear windows of a car rolled down.
