Okay, am I missing something here? I don't see a Sunrider part in the 2 door version of the top schematic, only in the 4 door version. I have what is pictured in my standard top. Still no part numbers for Sunrider parts and what is needed. Can someone help me out here?

 

Thanks Sparky. I contacted them initially but Just Jeeps didn't have any idea. I might call them now that I have the part numbers.

After a long night of trying to figure it out, I think the $4K is for all the parts for the entire soft top. I'm now going to try and figure out if I can take apart mine and, if so, which parts to buy..

 

GOD I wish I could just let this go. Does this make any sense to anyone else??

Here are the parts I apparently need to convert my top:

Soft top Cover (Thought I already had that)
Header kit and side bow A (no side bow B?)
Two door frames (glass) (huh?)

The soft top cover is the expensive part...

I think both my dealer and jeep have given up on me...

 

I'm sure they've given up on me.

 

My 2DR Sahara only had the soft top when I bought it new last year, I found a sun-rider soft top on Craigslist and picked it up for $400.00. I would suggest that you try to find one either on this site or Craigslist can make you life a lot easier.

 

Believe me, I've been looking. Problem is, I'm in Canada. Not many available and no one wants to ship / wait for me to pick up in the States...

 

I've been watching for a year now with no results. Everything is too far away to ship at any sort of reasonable cost due to the frame being oversize for UPS and FedEx and DHL. I keep hoping.

 

I don't really think the sunrider feature is worth switching tops for at all. I can't even use it on mine because it will not stay latched on the passenger side. The thingy in the door suround that holds it is broken and will release under the slightest amount of pressure.

It's been like that from day one and I can't even justify going to the nearest dealer to get it fixed. Granted that is 150km away.

 

Well. wait a second, where did you get yours? You have a 2 dr 2007, right? It wasn't an option when I bought mine...

 

In the later half of the model year it was offered if you bought the dual top package.....dealership told me I was getting it.....I didnt....and softop of course was packaged up when I picked her up....
