Default sunrider top problem

I have an unlimited, should the sunrider top have so much material flopping on the back seat passenger when folded back????? I have looked at the video a number of times but the way I'm folding it can't be right. When I do it, it looks fine with the W look, but there is so much material drooping into the passenger compartment. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

4 door right? It sounds like you are taking it all the way down - not just half way, right? I found that the top folds and lays a lot better if you take out the back and two side plastic window. I take them out put them in the back and then fold the top down.

On a funny note...has anyone screwed up like me and didn't tuck the side plastic windows into the door rail? The plastic window just blows in the breeze!

Default fold it more

You need to fold it again so it will lay back farther. I did the same thing with mine the first time.

Make sure that the rearmost plastic 'segment' of the door clips is folded back away behind the top rear corner of the rear door. If the rearmost segment is left forward it will not work. Once you do this, fold everything like a W and it'll be nice and tightly packed. When you put on the velcro loop nice and tight it'll stay shut.

Hope this helps. I just had to figure it out for myself. Seems to work well at high speeds too.

Cheers.

Yeah, that isn't right. Your "W" is wrong.
I'm at work or else I would post a pic.
The first fold starts right by where the front conection is. You can see it in your first pic.
If someone doesn't post a pic I will try to later

I posted to the other place you had this question, so look there, but to answer here in a shorter way:

In your first picture, your W goes from the top bow, then towards the front of the Jeep, bends to go back to the bow, the bends to go back forward then bends to go to the back. (go ahead and trace it with your finger)

It should go from the top bow BACK towards the BACK of the Jeep, bend and come forward to the second bow, then BACK towards the BACK of the Jeep back to the bows.

When you lift the header and fold it back, you want the material to fold UP (which ends up back) NOT THE NATURAL FOLD DOWN THAT IT WANTS TO DO BY ITSELF!!!

If you don't get it from this, trying reading my response at the other fourm. Just be patient and watch what the tops wants to do and make it go opposite. You'll get it and it'll be a snap afterwards!!
