Superchips 3571 Flashcal for Jeep 07-16 Jeep JK WINDOWS 10
FYI
My correspondence with Superchips. I could not get the Ignition Software to load and run for Windows 10
Subject: Ignition Update Software?
Hello Superchips,
I recently purchased a Flashcal F5 3571 for my JK Jeep 2016. I cannot get the Ignition to run on my computer with Windows 10. I did get it to work on a different computer with Windows 7. Is there a driver so I can use my own computer for Windows 10?
Thanks,
Sparky
There response:
Unfortunately not drivers but you may want to check here for any local dealers who can update you for free.
Thank you

Interesting. I guess I'll keep my Windows 7 PCs around.
I'm not familiar with Win 10. I have multiple PCs but am still on either Win7 or Win 8.1. I was afraid to do the Win 10 updates in fear I might be stuck with a PC partially functioning, and Win 8.1 works fine for my needs. Figured I'ld wait until I get a new PC for my Win 10 experience.
As a thought, have you tried right clicking on the ignition EXE file, selecting properties and selecting to run it in compatibility mode?
This is from my Win7 machine, but just as an example if you're not familiar this is where it's located.

Definitely a disappointment. However, look at the alternative such as the AEV Procal. If you go on AEV's website you can see where they added capabilities to their Procal and "if" you had the version right before their latest, you could send it in to AEV and they would update it for you, and then they would send it back to you where you were responsible for all the shipping charges. Then if you owned any other version besides the one before the latest, you didn't have an option for an update. So essentially you had no upgradeability options if you owned a Procal that was purchased before the latest. Although a hassle that Ignition is not running on the latest version of Windows, still not as much of an inconvenience as a Procal in regards to getting it updated if needed.

I have Win 10 on this computer. Downloaded and installed Ignition on Saturday, updated the flashcal...no issues. Used it on the Jeep today I wonder what the heck could be the difference?
