They will not switch them form a new vehicle on the lot. But you can purchase any set of OEM / accessory wheel and tire combination. And have them installed. I did this too.

i'm ordering my JKU tomorrow and i tried the same thing, i wanted the black rims instead of the stock. The dealer said i'd have to buy the black rims seperate and then just keep the stock rims. They said the list price $360/rim for the blacks ones but said i would recieve a significant discount off that but not sure what that would actually be. I'm just going with the stock rims for now.

Wow. $360 per wheel. for the price of two wheels you could buy 5 aftermarket wheels. You made the right choice passing on that deal...

Just to give you an aftermarket idea

I bought 5 new MB Torque from discount tire which look very similar to the 18in Jeep upgraded Sahara Rims for $870 OTD selling my old rims for 250$

MB offers several options for the jeep including torques in black as well

They charge your first born child for those smoked stockers. The discount price would still be $200 per. A body shop can paint and powdercoat them for you for less than $400 total. The color is Chrysler Mineral Grey

I was told by a dealer for one of my other cars that a new vehicle comes with a build sheet, and window sticker based on the VIN. When the dealer itself puts on a aftermarket wheel and tire, they make amendment sticker and charge you for the new items. Swapping the wheels from two vehicles would cause the stickers and build sheets to be wrong.

Let's just say they took the Arctic wheels and put them on your X, and put those Reg Wheels on the Arctic. A smart customer like myself who is looking at the arctic would say those wheels do not normally come on there, can i see the build sheet, and would want them to put the correct ones on there.
