Default Tail lights wont work!

My tail lights are out and not sure why. The brake light and turn signals work but when I cut on the headlights its all dark in the back. I have done the key thing to find a code, with no luck. Last week p1802 or something that started witha "p" showed up but I could not get it to do it again, it just says "done" now. Anyone know of a solution other than the dealership? I have not messed with wiring in any way. All my accessories are wired straight to the optima. Any help would be great

Default check your dash lights

Check your running lights fuse, it controls your rear running lamps and your dash lamps, if one's out so's the other....

Took it the dealership after checking all the fuses, bulbs, and wire connections. My dealership (which is super great to work with) couldnt find any visible cause. After several hours of checking the wires for incoming/outgoing power, it was decided that somehow while wiring the side markers for my Xenon flares, I shorted something inside one of the computer boxes. The same guy, Simon, always works on my Jeep and said there was no way to prove I messed it up so they would replace the computer for free. Sweet! Had the part the next morning and installed in about an hour. All lights are now functioning!
