I just started noticing that my tailgate does not always lock when I hit the button on the remote. Has anyone else had this problem?

If I put the key in and lock it, it will work again with the remote for a limited time and then stop again until I put the key in. Its really annoying because I never know if its locked or not.

Solutions?

 

Have not had that but my rear passenger side does that. I hit the lock button twice and it locks.

 

I have same issues with tailgate. Did you find the problem?

 

Probably a electrical connection issue at the lock, you could try to trace back the connection and clean with some wd40

 

I just found something really weird with mine now. It seems that when my doors are off the tailgate always locks and unlocks. As soon as I plug the doors back in it stops working.???
