Any solution Yet? What did the dealer say do? My Dash Reading is about 7 degrees F greater than what I know the actual temp to be. It makes dressing for skiing harder!

i just use this tried and true method for calculateing temp.

step 1: lick index finger on left hand
step 2: hold licked finger out window
step 3: lift right leg while still holding finger out of window
step 4: wait for it, wait for it
step 5: FART!!!!
step 6: count how long it takes your passenger to roll down window
step 7: multiply the time of pass of window roll to duration of fart then that number times 12 and you will get an accurate reading to +/- 1 degree

When the dealer flashed my computer after the fog light kit was installed (i got an X w/o the fog light option) my thermometer read in the negatives even though it was early summer in nor cal, but it would still change incrementally with the OAT. Example: if it was 70 outside it would read -14 on the dash and if it was 75 outside the dash would read -9. I brought up the issue before i drove off the lot and the tech said that it would reset itself. As it turned out it did not reset by itself. I took it back and they re-flashed the computer and the problem went away.

So long story short maybe a quick re-flash is all you need.
