Default Thin Wall Sockets

Anyone know where I can purchase a 1/4 inch drive 7mm thin wall socket. I am trying to remove the Recirculating Door Actuator and my craftsman standard 7mm socket will not fit due to interference of the plastic.. Need a thin wall socket.

Thanks!

Default Different Socket Size

Turns out that the other screw was not a 7mm socket size, it required a 9/32" socket. Bad assumption on my part thinking they required the same size socket.

I would presume you searched Google. I searched the major tool companies .. NO LUCK.. You might be reducing the outside to make your own thin wall.. IF so use a cheapie

Glad you figured it out. I was going to suggest a nut driver as sometimes they have a slimmer profile than a socket.

Did not need to buy a thin wall socket.. Turns out the other screw was a 9/32 when is was supposed to be another 7mm.

In cases where I need a thin wall socket I just grab a cheapo and put it on the grinder. Bingo thin wall. My 1310 driveshafts use one.
