WHat is this called and could it have anything to do with why my front locker light blinks? Also when 4wd is engaged there is a loud metal clicking coming from my left front..suggestions Click image for larger version

That's a good close-up... another picture from a wider view would help.

There are two plugs that go into the differential for your locker. One is to send the signal to lock the diff and one is used to provide the status of the diff (locked or unlocked)...

That picture doesn't look like either of those plugs. (see attached)

Thanks for the input. This plug is right on top of the front axel on the drivers side. There is a bolt right next to it that is attached to the plug. I may remove it and send a pic to u of that.

It is called the actuator connector.

That is the 12V power to engage and disengage the locker.

Yep yep...all the above. Front Sway and Lockers are connected through the Bus system. Any disconnection will throw faults and light blinking error.

Did yours break from the upper control arm rubbing against it? It should come straight out from the housing. I can't remember if there is RTV there to keep the seal or not

It broke from impaling my jeep on a long branchless dead tree. I think I can put a screw in it and pull it out. I ordered that part u sent me the link to. It may be the key to my problems with that locker. So thank you for that. If it doesn't work I'm going to send u a video
