Thinking about buying a jk
Just remember you are buying a jeep for fun and pleasure. You stated it is going to be your DD so remember that it doesn't get the best gas mileage, but I guarantee that you will have lots of fun.
This is my second jeep and I don't see this being my last.

DO IT. GO. NOW!
Seriously, I've never heard of anyone regretting buying a Jeep, and on here you're certainly only going to hear positives. Think about how much fun you'll have top down in July when the sun is out until 11pm! Then great in the snow in the winter of course.

It sounds like your planning on getting a Jeep but what to know what else to consider? There are probably a ton of guys and gals on here that have regrets. Not becaues they bought a Jeep, more regrets that they didn't get big enough tires, higher lift, win the lottery to pay for all the fun stuff in their various shopping carts online. I would recommend that you get what most closly matches what you think you will do with the Jeep. If that's an X- do it, if that's a Rubi, go that route. The fact that you have a Jeep will put a smile on your face regardless! Cheers!
It took me years to bite the bullett.... I have always had a truck and thought I needed to stay in one. I went throught the following: 03 Z71 extended cab, 05 F150 4dr (2wd), 06 Z71 crew (loaded and 35" tires), 07 F150 crew 4x4 w/ 35 Nitto's.... NOW 2010 Rubi unlimited with 35" Baha's.... My only regreat is that I didnt make the change many years and upgrades on trucks earlier. When ever I am settup up a tailgate or need to haul items, I hook up the trusty 6x12 trailer and ready to haul. My previous two trucks had bed covers and lifts, so I had used the trailer for more and more items... much easier to load... I have 4.10 gears and have not had any issues towing light to moderate loads. JUST DO IT! U WILL LOVE IT! I know I do....

I say get it, but if you'll be towing anything other than a empty trailer, be ready for gears, if you go with bigger tires, you'll have to gear for sure. Mine with 35's and auto doesn't hold speed on highway very well, on a hill it starts losing ground quick, but I love it and won't trade it for anything. Going to upgrade my d30 front then regear
I got my 1st jeep in october of 2010 a 2011 unlimited sahara. My last car was a Cadillac dts. While the jeep doesn't drive as smooth as the Cadillac ( what car does?) hands down the best car I ever had get it
