Ok forum members.. request help, ideas, how to fix.. 2013 JKU, replaced the throttle body due to throttle position sensor, after removal and cleaning. NOW the 2 lower bolts (1 on each side) do not torque down, keep spinning. Request any ideas and successful repairs for this before replacement of the upper Plenum (very expensive). Have thought of JB Weld, maybe new bolts, inserts, -- welcome any and all ideas on this one.. BTW code is 2173 High Air Flow Detected..

 

Helicoil. Just need to drill out the offending holes, tap, and insert. Be SURE to drill the correct size and as straight as possible.

 

Yes I am thinking in this direction; and also thinking of getting the plastic drywall inserts - epoxy or JB them in and bolt up.. Still concerned with PL 2173 - high air flow (vacuum Leak) might be the loose TB.
