Default Tie Rod and Draglink movement and bushings

I have on two occasions experienced wobble, however my front right tire had a slow leak and was low so I am not sure if that was a contributor to the wobble or not. I have replaced the tire and took the jeep for a test ride hitting bumps around turns and no noises or wobble. I am not a mechanic and not sure what my next steps should be. I have checked all bolts and nothing is loose in the system. The only movement is the tie rod and drag link. They both twist (not the up down movement) but my concern was that they twist extremely easy with little hand force. They also bottom out when I twist them as if the bushings on the end may be worn out. My visual inspection does not reveal any cuts or dry areas on the bushings. I have owned this jeep for a year or so and do not believe the previous owners had it off road based on the underside. I have not taken it off road other than the beach. Stock, no mods yet. 52,000 miles.

Should I have the bushings checked and/or replaced?

Thanks,

Jar

Check the track bar bolts with a torque wrench; this is usually the first place to look at if you've got DWs. The reason I say torque wrench is that these suspension bolts often feel tight when checked casually with a regular wrench however when you repeat the proceedure with a torque wrench dialed in to the specified torque setting the bolts will quite often rotate anorther turn or so.

There is also an issue with the bolt holes on the frame and suspension components ovaling out due to the OEM bolts being threaded all the way to the bolthead; if they get loose then the movement of the thread against the side of the holes can oval the holes out over time, causing lateral movement of the bolts. The fix is often to weld a washer over the ovaled out hole to correct this wear, and then to use bolts that are not threaded the last inch or so from the head.

At 52K miles however it may well do to replace the tie rod ends as well as the balljoints in these may be onthe way out.

I have the same issue, including the exact same play in the drag link and tie rod. Post back anything you have done that may have worked. I have to inspect the rest of the components down there but so far this is all i could find wrong. I can sometimes hear the drag link bottom out as you said while driving.

I just bought my 07 rubi. Had an 07 sahara that didn't have the problem
