Default Tint vs Deep Tint

I am ordering an '08 Rubicon Unlimited and am trying to decide whether or not I need the deep tint windows ( on the rear doors & hard top). I think the windows come tinted already and I'm wondering if the standard tint is enough to keep people from seeing into the back of the jeep. I don't need the tint for cooling purposes or to block sunlight into the jeep, I just don't want to tempt a potential thief with a clear view to whatever stuff I have back there. Thanks.

deep sounds darker... so i would of course go with that... most likely in the neighborhood of 10-15%

the other tint is most likely for UV protection more than light restriction

The standard tint is VERY light. I've you want to keep prying eyes away, go with the Deep Tint.

All I know is mine did not come with the 'deep tint' and the stock windows are absolutely not tinted or at least they weren't on mine. It actually turned out fine because then I just took the whole thing and had them tinted exactly to my liking and all windows including the drivers and front passengers are exactly the same.

Go with the deep tint-it's in the glass and not a plastic film.Pay the man-it's worth it.

Mine came with "deep tint". It's very dark. I'm not sure it's correct but I heard it's 31%. Regular/standard tint isn't dark at all... almost close to clear. People can see right through.

He's right... Go w/the deep tint... not sure about the Jeeps tint number, but generally most manufactures go w/20% which makes it difficult to see in. You can see shadows but generally wouldn't be able to make out faces especially at night.

Good choice. I don't really call the 1% on the tinted windows as tint.

Is the Deep Tinting on just the back windows and the top's glass or are the front driver and passenger windows tinted also. I am thinking just the back windows but I wanted to be sure. Thanks...
