I ran the Terra Grapplers in a 33". Performance wise, they were outstanding, especially in snow. Like most A/T's, not very good for deep mud. They do lack an aggressive appearance. Looks aside, impressive all terrain tire

I personally wouldn't go with either. For an agressive looking all terrain (looks more like a mud terrain than an all terrain) I'd go with a Duratrac. It's great in most conditions. Especially winter driving as they're snowflake rated. They look real good in person too. Better than they do in pictures.

Very good tires, with a great warranty. Nice tread look. Quiet on the highway, yet good in rain and snow.Click image for larger version

I'm planning on the ST Maxx. My brother had a set of STs on for 80k miles with regular trailer pulling and winter snow plowing.

Cool It's All About Options

I put about 20K miles on a set of BFG ATs on my '98 TJ, and thought they were pretty good until I put a set of Good Year Silent Armor ATs on my '08 JKU. The Silent Armors have two steel belts and one KEVLAR belt. They are (1) silent on road, (2) top rated on wet and icy roads and are (3) rated for "severe snow service." Not a problem in Arkansas. Off road they will hold their own on trails, moderate rocks and deep sand. They absolutely suck in deep mud. That all being said, if you spend more than 90% of your time on road, an aggressive tire is not what you need. BUT, if that's what you want, go to it.

If your spending money on new tires why not just get 285's with wheel spacers?

I upgraded from the factory 255's to Goodyear Duratrac's 285's with good wheel spacers.
