Default Tire question for the gurus!

Ok ...I know it has been discussed. I am currently running Mastercraft Cousar CT 275/65 18 "C " load range and really like them. The problem is they are to small. I want nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70 18s. They only come in a 10 ply E rated tire. What do you gurus think.....am I going to hate the ride or is it not so bad? This is my DD. Thanks for your help.

I don't know about the Terra Grapplers, but I'm running 265/75-16 BFG-AT 10 ply E load and they ride just about as nice as the stock tires did.

C to E load rating is going to be a big jump in ride quality. Some say "it's fine", I noticed it from C to D, wish KM2s came in C's. If you are concerned about the ride, E's are going to be rough. (Terra Grapplers were on my buddys 1500 silverado, ran pretty hard down the road, sucked off road on the rocks)

The sidewalls on the 10pr tires are designed for more weight, so less flex. If they are mounted and balanced properly they will be okay. You will probablly run less air too, that will help. The nittos are good tires but very heavy.
