Tire rotation ?
I don't rotate the spare I am buying a used tire for my spare and just using it when I have a flat. The spare just needs to get me somewhere to get my tire fixed. It's pointless to buy 5 tires when you have to replace. You don't see hondas rotating there little donuts lol. Just my 2 cents
Lol. You will be buying them less often, if you rotate 5 tires. If you had, say, 10 tires, then you won't have to buy new set of 10 tires for a very long time.
Because Hondas don't come with a full size spare tire. If you don't rotate the 5th tire, then it goes to waste. And when your current set wears out and you decide to try a different tire, then... you now have a different spare tire. Not only the tread pattern will be different, but the overall diameter will likely also be different, even if they both suppose to be 35" tires or whatever. God forbid you decide to move up/down a tire size.
I you don't rotate the spare - it will dry rot over time and will be unsafe to use (especially if you leave it uncovered). I found this out on my last Jeep 93YJ that I kept for 19 years. This time - I'll rotate my 12JK's spare and extend the life of my 5 tire set.

There is absolutely no reason other than sloth to NOT rotate the spare. It doesn't cost you more since you extend the life of your set, your tire doesn't go bad over time, you can get to the tire repair shop at a leisurely pace, and you don't have to buy a wasted tire when you decide to change brands or size on the next buy.
Doing a five tire rotation is the only smart move for all the reasons the previous posters noted (taking for granted that you've got five of the same tire).
To one of the previous posters that said "you don't see Hondas rotating their donuts", REALLY?

is it ever too late to rotate in a spare? I've done one rotation but the shop didnt rotate them the way I'd like (I know I should've done them myself..) so would it be bad to throw the spare in rotation now?
