Default Tire rotation??

Hey Guys,

The 08 JK manual gives the rotation pattern for 4 tires which is back tires to front in line on the same side, then front tires to the back, but crossed. IE..left front goes to right rear.

But what if you wnat to include the spare tire in the rotation pattern? I just put on new BFG AT's including the spare and I want to rotate them all to get max life out of the set of 5. Anyone seen a Jeep procedure for this?? Thanks

Pick a pattern and stick with it.
I start with the spare to driver's rear, to driver's front, to passenger rear, to passenger front, to spare. I just remember the pattern is a big N, for no-brainer.

I do the same as above, but spare to passenger rear, (backwards "N", i like the analogy) both work, all 5 tires will get the same amount of wear and get flip-flopped as to drive direction.

Like so:

There's a lot of opinions on tire rotation.

Try here:

or, well, the search will turn up a lot on tire rotations. I use the pattern like cufojeep uses. And I really like his signature saying!!
