Default tires and no lift

I am in the market for new tires and I was looking at Nitto Trail Grapplers or Nitto Dune Grapplers. I do 75% highway driving and live in Michigan where we go to silver lake dunes a few times a year. I'm not big into Rock crawling but do enjoy the mud. any advice on which tire to go with?

also, I was wondering if I could stuff 34 or 35 inch tires on my stock height JK? I won't ever be disconnecting, just an FYI.

thanks in advance for your help.

You can fit 35" with a leveling kit, wheel spacers, and a slight trim of the pinch seam. The front will rub the fenders if you do disconnect.

Dune grapplers are made for sand. Being that you want to play in the mud go with the trails. You will definitely want to cut the fenders and trim the pinch seams at a minimum, or as mentioned get a leveling kit

I'll will definitely be playing in the sand MUCH more than in the mud. are the trail grapplers really that much better in the mud to justify it?

I think I've settled with the BFG KM2's. too much positive has been written about them. plus, it sounds like the Sand Grappler's are ONLY good in sand.
