So im gonna order discoverer sst 265/70R17 on 17 inch xd series spy, goin on a stock set up I know everyone has asked a billion times, but.do I want to go any bigger or can I guess is the question?

I live in southern idaho so driving mountains, play in the mud, no serious trailin or playin on rocks.

Since you won't need maximum articulation, you could go 33/12.5 with no lift or at least wider tires since you have aftermarket rims. I ran like this for a few months and only rubbed the air dam when reversing and turning hard. My rims have 4.5" backspacing.

Thanks thats what I was wanting to run, ill talk to the tire guy again, the quote he gave me for the set up I mentioned was 1700 installed, was THINKIN thats a decent deal, was hopin to stay under 2 grand.
