While we were out wheeling I gave my stock spare to a fellow fourm member who cut his side wall. My Jeep is not seeing the sensor. What do I do?

 

I would just thank God that stupid light is not working. I'm so glad I got an 07. No TPMS.

 

It's not going to unless the tire is one of the four rolling tires on your jeep. The spare does have a sensor but it's not active unless it's actually rolling on your vehicle. That's why when you replace a tire your sensor stays lit for a little while after the replacement. The computer is having to pick up the new sensor that's moving.

 

Simply get your tire back. I won't cause a problem though.

 

my sensor has been tripped by the spare being low Once I filled it up the light went out.

 

The Spare sensor does work as far as telling the computer what pressure its at.

I too am glad i have an 07 and do NOT have these......
