Took my 2012 in for an oil change and then...
Got it back Sat afternoon. I asked the service desk if they filled the coolant back up, replied YES. So I decided to look anyway before I left, barely any in the resevoir - so they had to pull it back in for 15 minutes to do that. They claimed they never found the cause of the belt getting shredded, and tried to not even give me paperwork (problems with computer was the reason) but I requested they mail it to me.
The 20th Anniversary Trans Am in 1989 had the same turbo 3.8L V6 that was used in the Buick Grand National. Not that he'd have known anything about that car, either....
3 miles down the road the battery light comes on, the power steering fails, and it starts to overheat. I pullover and call the dealer and pop the hood. The serpentine belt is shredded and there is coolant anywhere. I reluctantly DRIVE it back so I don't have to wait for a tow truck.
They of course say it's a coincendence - but why would a 15,000 mile belt magically shred right after they serviced it??
I've done the first 2 changes myself, but since they do 4 free and the filter is pricey I decided to let them do one and here is my reward!! LOL

I have over 40,000 miles on my 2011 COD and no troubles ....yet.
When I bought my Jeep the salesman was trying to tell me the Jk was so awesome off road because of the independent front suspension
and when I took delivery the only thing he could really tell me was how to adjust the clock.

Ok I got one for you guys, at 8k miles(2 weeks ago) my heater core had to be replaced. From passenger side to driver side vents blew different temps like starting at 160 degrees to 65, in 35 degree weather 65 is like running the a/c. Problem??? Heater core was stopped up with this fine sand that I was told was used to deber the block before the engine was built and they didn't get it all flushed out.
